National Football League (NFL) Schedule, Week 1

The National Football League (NFL) is a professional American football league.It is one of the four major professional sports leagues in North America. The NFL is the highest professional level of American football in the world. It consists 32 teams; they are equally divided between the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC).

 The NFL was formed in the year 1920. At that time, it was known as American Professional Football Association (APFA). In the year 1923 it renames itself to now existing National Football League (NFL).it merged with American Football League (AFL) in 1966.

The NFL’s regular season is seventeen weeks long. The regular season starts from a week after Labor Day and runs till a week after Christmas. In the regular season each team plays sixteen games and has a bye week.

This year NFL regular season Week 1 will start on Thursday, September 5, 2024. The 1^st week will start from 05 September 2024 to 9 September 2024. The season opening game will be played between Baltimore Ravens at Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday, 05 September 2024. The game will be aired on NBC/Peacock.
