The National Football League (NFL) is a professional American football league.It is one of the four major professional sports leagues in North America. The NFL is the highest professional level of American football in the world. It consists 32 teams; they are equally divided between the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC).
The NFL was formed in the year 1920. At that time, it was known as American Professional Football Association (APFA). In the year 1923 it rename itself to now existing National Football League (NFL).it merged with American Football League (AFL) in 1966.
The NFL’s regular season is seventeen weeks long. The regular season starts from a week after Labor Day and runs till a week after Christmas. In the regular season each team plays sixteen games and has a bye week.
This year NFL regular season Week 14 will start on Thursday, 06 September, 2018. And the fourteenth week will start on Thursday, 06 December, 2018.This week’s Thursday night game between Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals will definitely be the highlight game of the week.

Their home ground is University of Phoenix Stadium, located in Glendale, Arizona. They have one two League championships, one Conference championships and six Division championships. They have made nine Playoff appearances. The Cardinals have rivalries with St. Louis Rams, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins and Carolina Panthers.
