National Football League (NFL) schedule, Week-9

The National Football League (NFL) is a professional American football league.It is one of the four major professional sports leagues in North America. The NFL is the highest professional level of American football in the world. It consists 32 teams; they are equally divided between the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC).

The NFL was formed in the year 1920. At that time, it was known as American Professional Football Association (APFA). In the year 1923 it rename itself to now existing National Football League (NFL).it merged with American Football League (AFL) in 1966.

The NFL’s regular season is seventeen weeks long. The regular season starts from a week after Labor Day and runs till a week after Christmas. In the regular season each team plays sixteen games and has a bye week.

This year NFL regular season week 9 will start on Thursday, 06 September, 2018.And the ninth week will start on Thursday, 1 November, 2018. In this week Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks are resting and not taking part in any games

They are currently a member of the North division of the American Football Conference (AFC) of the National Football League (NFL). They were established 47 years ago, in the year 1968. They had won AFC championship in 1981 and 1988. They have won eight Division championships and made thirteen Playoff appearances. Their home ground is Paul Brown Stadium, located in Cincinnati, Ohio. They have history of rivalry with Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers.
